MEMBER CAR PARKING
We have two member car parks which are monitored and should only be used exclusively for gym visits. This does not include trips into the city.
Car Park 1: Is down the end of St Martin’s Lane, just off Oak st. This is the first left after you turn into Oak St. Just look out for the Phoenix Private Parking Signs. (Please do not park in the site management space)
Car Park 2: Is around the back of the gym within the St Mary’s Works car park. You can park in any of the Phoenix Gym spaces against the metal railing that backs onto Car Park 1. (Look for the Phoenix Gym Signs)
Parking is free on Oak Street directly outside the gym before 8am and after 18:00 Mon-Sat & free Sundays.
Provide your Car Registration
To avoid parking tickets or notices, please ensure you have provided us with your car registration and keep us up to date if you change your vehicle.
Just provide this at reception on your first visit.
Extra FREE Parking
Monday-Friday Evenings (after 17:30) & weekends: You can also park in the “visitor” spaces in the middle of the St Mary’s car park or along the back railings. Do not park around the outside edges in front of the offices or businesses as these are permit holders only.
Parking is free on the street before 8am and after 18:00 Mon-Sat & free Sundays
IMPORTANT
Please give your Car Registration Plate Number to reception to avoid getting any parking tickets.
Parking is strictly limited to gym use only and NOT trips into the city!
Maximum 2.5 hours parking limit to workout.

Do you offer discounts for Students at your Norwich Gym?
Yes we offer a discounts for students.
Students do not have to pay a joining fee (saving £15) and the monthly membership is discounted, with no contracts and you can cancel at anytime.

If you are setting up a student or corporate membership then you will need to add in your ID number and also bring the relevant ID with you on your first visit to the club.
Students and corporate rates give you a “No Joining Fee” discount plus discounts on the monthly plans available.
Staff members may from time to time confirm that you are a student or confirm that you work for an authorised company.
Will someone be available to show me around?
There is always at least one team member on shift (usually two) so that we can give you a 1-2-1 tour of the club and answer any questions.
If you would like to make sure that there is someone available to greet you and show you around personally then Contact Us and request a tour.
What date does my gym membership Direct Debit come out?
We have 4 DD collection dates per month – 1st, 8th, 15th and the 21st.
You will initially make a manual payment up front to cover the joining fee (if applicable) and your first week or two of membership (AKA Pro Rata).
Your first DD will come out at the next closest available date for collection, depending on when you join during the month.
This information is provided both when you join and within your member app.
What is the minimum age I can join Phoenix Gym in Norwich?
The minimum age that you can join Phoenix Gym Norwich is 16 years of age.
Will I get a Phoenix Gyms membership card?
When joining Phoenix Gym, you will be sent a link to download our member app.
Inside the app is a “check in” feature to allow you to check in through the speed gate for club admission.
If you do not have a smart phone then we will provide you with a key fob to allow you entry, on your first visit.
Is there a joining fee?
Yes, there is a one off joining fee of £15.
We occasionally have “No Joining Fee” promotions.
Can I pay up front for my gym membership?
Yes, you can purchase for a 12 month “up front membership” at a reduced rate (12 months for the price of 10, plus no joining fee saving a further £15).
This is popular with people who do not want to set up a monthly DD and those that love a bargain.
Do you offer corporate discounts at Phoenix Gym in Norwich?
Yes we offer corporate discounts for selected Phoenix Gym registered companies.
A valid ID or proof of employment will need to be added to your profile on sign up and then shown at reception to confirm this.
A member of staff may from time to time confirm where you work.
There are no contracts and members/employees can cancel anytime.
You can try Phoenix Gym out on a day pass for £6.99.
All our memberships provide free members guest passes, so if you know an existing member then they may be able to get you in for free on one of their allocated guest passes.
We do run special promotions fairly regularly so if you follow our Facebook page then you can take advantage of them when available.
Do I need a bank account to be a Phoenix Gym member in Norwich?
Yes, you will need a valid UK bank account to set up a Direct Debit membership.
If you prefer not to go through a bank account, then you have the option to pay in advance by card for 12 months, which can also save money.
We are unable to accept cash for payment as we do not use a till system.
The vending machine does have a cash option for purchasing drinks and supplements.
