How do I get the Gym Member App on my phone in Norwich?

For health, safety and insurance reasons, bags are strictly not permitted on the gym floor in Norwich.

They must be either kept within one of our lockers or on the bag racks within the gym provided

There is a bag rack in each of our gyms training rooms in Norwich.

The lockers require padlocks so you can either bring your own or purchase one from the vending machine if you do not have one.

Yes, you can freeze your membership for a minimum of 1 month at a time at Norwich.

Just email the date that you would like to freeze your membership from and until to: info@phoenixgymnorwich.co.uk

If you do not have an end date in mind then just state “no end date” which means – until you return to the club.

To unfreeze your membership you can either email us to let us know at reception when you plan to return to the gym or you can simply scan in access through the speed gate and the system should automatically unfreeze your membership.

If this does not happen automatically then just let the reception team know at our gyms in Norwich. .

Both the Standard and Premium memberships at our Norwich gym come with free guest passes dependant on the membership option you choose.

Our standard gym membership provides one guest pass monthly and Premium provides 4 per month.

Just bring your guest along with you and our reception team will process the free day pass for your guest.

You can bring whoever you like as many times as you like as long as they are not banned from the club and you are within your specified guest pass allocation.

Guests can not enter the gym without you being there with them in the Norwich gym.

Any friends that you bring who are not coming on a free guest pass will have to pay £6.99 for a day pass.

We require 7 days written notice to make sure that your dd is cancelled in time to prevent any further payments.

All you need to do to cancel your membership is send us an email to info@phoenixgymnorwich.co.uk.

To make sure no more payments come out you can of course cancel your direct debit with the bank at the same time as emailing us.

If we do not receive a cancellation message from you then our system will think that there is an issue with your bank account and we will likely try to contact you to resolve this issue.

Cancelling your DD within at least 3-5 days is not possible as the payment will likely have already been requested by our DD provider, hence why we ask for 7 days. This prevents any issues.

If you DO NOT email us and provide written confirmation to cancel prior to your next direct debit date, then we can not provide any refunds.

Yes, we provide super fast free wifi all throughout the norwich gym.

This is under the WIFI name “Phoenix-Gym”.

The password is in the reception area within the club.

If you are on a monthly DD membership then Phoenix Gym in Norwich reserves the right to change the price if necessary, although this is very rear and unlikely.

Members would be given at least 4 weeks written notice in the unlikely event this ever happened, although generally, any price increases would be for new members only and those members would know the new price of the membership from sign up.

If you are on a pay in advance membership then prices are set for that period of time but may change in the future on renewal.

Yes, we have quality showers and changing facilities that you can use before and after your workouts in our Norwich Gym.

There are also 2 toilets in each changing room in Norwich.

The ladies changing room also has 2 private changing cubicles as well as your typical bench with clothing hooks.

Vanity units are provided in both changing rooms. 2 in the ladies and 1 in the mens.

Yes, after your initial 2 free personal training sessions, our staff are available to help show you how to use any of the equipment or go through the exercises that you were given.

We learn through repetition and we more than understand this, so if you need a hand then please don’t hesitate to ask a member of the team.

No, if you have been a member of Phoenix Gym before then will not need to re-pay a joining fee.

To subtract the joining fee, you would likely need to re-join within the club at reception, so that we can check our records and waive the joining fee for you.

We do run no joining fee promotions from time to time so if this is the case then you can join Phoenix Gyms in Norwich without having to pay the joining fee online.
