How long has Phoenix been open?
Phoenix Gym Norwich has been established since August 2013.
Phoenix, like it’s members, has been growing from strength to strength winning multiple awards.
Our latest refurbishment is the best yet providing an even greater workout experience for our members.
Yes we provide lockers of various sizes which are antibacterial.
All you need to bring is a padlock.
If you do not have a padlock then one can be purchased from behind reception.
We also provide bag racks within the training room where you can keep an eye on them.
Personal belongings are strictly not allowed to be left over night. These will be removed and kept in lost property for 2 weeks before being disposed of.
We have CCTV through the gym also.
Phoenix Gym is both a gym and fitness club combined.
As well as offering all the usual cardiovascular and weight training equipment you would normally find in a gym, Phoenix also provides a lot of HIIT, strength and conditioning equipment, unique boxing equipment as well as a purpose built functional training zone.
Phoenix Gym provides a wide variety of exercise options to make your workouts more exciting and prevent boredom, by no two workouts being the same.
The Phoenix Classes are also a fantastic way to get a fun, gym based workout in a supportive group training environment.
We do not supply personal hand towels. Disposable blue roll is provided in multiple sanitise stations situated conveniently around the gym in Norwich.
Yes, we have changing facilities along with lockers and showers for both ladies and gents.
The toilets are also within the changing facilities.
The ladies changing room has private changing cubicles for extra privacy.
There is always at least one team member of staff on shift at all times.
There is usually 2-3 staff members on shift between 9am and 7pm Monday to Friday as well as a team of personal trainers available within the club.
There are never any unmanned hours where the gym is unattended.
Yes we have two free member car parks, which is strictly for gym use only with a maximum of 2 hours.
Car Park 1: Is down the end of St Martin’s Lane, just off Oak st. This is the first left after you turn into Oak St. Just look out for the Phoenix Private Parking Signs. (Please do not park in the site management space)
Car Park 2: Is around the back of the gym within the St Mary’s Works car park. You can park in any of the spaces against the metal railing that backs onto Car Park 1. (Look for the Phoenix Gym Signs)
Note: Parking is free on Oak Street directly outside the gym before 8am and after 18:00 Mon-Sat & free Sundays.
Provide your Car Registration
To avoid parking tickets or notices, please ensure you have provided us with your car registration and keep us up to date if you change your vehicle.
Just provide this at reception on your first visit.
Monday-Friday Evenings (after 17:30) & weekends: You can also park in the “visitor” spaces in the middle of the St Mary’s car park or along the back railings. Do not park around the outside edges in front of the offices or businesses as these are permit holders only.
Parking is free on the street before 8am and after 18:00 Mon-Sat & free Sundays.
