James Reeve Personal Trainer

James has over 10 years of Martial Arts experience and started his fitness career following what’s called the Martial Way. He got his Level 3 Personal Training Qualification the year after obtaining his Philosophy Degree, aiming to combine these physical and philosophical skills together to help other people.

James is well versed in most areas of general fitness and is committed to lifelong learning that benefits both himself and his clients.

He has a relaxed but tenacious personality and is very easy to get along with. His supportive nature provides an encouraging motivational style rather than that of a pressuring drill sergeant.

James had previously reached a point in his life where he knew he had to make some serious health and fitness changes. He was actually obese at his worst and after committing to getting himself in shape he lost a whopping 5 stone!

James had terrible insomnia and also chronic asthma so he knows all too well how difficult it can be to take those first steps and then push on to transform yourself.

James has felt failure in many forms. He has learnt from it and importantly now also knows how to win and overcome these obstacles. This enables him to pass this wisdom and experience onto others to achieve their own personal successes.

As well as Personal Training, James can provide 1-2-1 self defence training in our private personal training studio.

James likes to say: “if it works, it works.” And training with him works.
