Karl Roberts

Karl is one of the owners of Phoenix Gym but still has a few select clients that he works with as he enjoys helping others benefit from his experience. Karl has been a personal trainer for 13 years and training himself for 20+ years, starting out with body building, then leading on to strength and conditioning, callisthenics and MMA.

This progression and adaptation of training styles gives Karl a broad level of experience to share with his clients.

Karl still remembers the feeling of first stepping in to a gym and being overwhelmed by all the different machines and people who looked as if they knew exactly what they were doing, where as he had no idea what to do, only what he wanted to achieve.

So Karl loves to fill in the blanks of the “how to” to achieve your ultimate goals, but in such a way that it works with your current level of fitness, experience and capability, plus how to get navigate any limitations or barriers they may have.

His training style is aimed at helping his clients to also fun and enjoy working out, with a relaxed teacher style of personal training, that empowers you with the knowledge to be able to do it by yourself, with confidence and competence.
