Aleksey Lesha

Lesha has been working out in various gyms since he was just 15 years old. During his army service as a tank commander, he was platoon champion for kettlebells where they only had 24 and 32kg weights to train with, which is no easy feat.

After the army Lesha trained as a dance teacher, he taught in Vitibsk and worked as a professional dancer in Moscow.

He specialised in folk dancing and had his own company of students who he choreographed for performances on Belarus national TV. In 2014 Lesha studied more dance in Liverpool City College, concentrating more on contemporary dance styles.

Since coming to Norwich in 2017, Lesha has been able to develop his passion for physical exercise, gaining his level 3 in personal training and helping clients to work towards their training goals.

During his time in Norwich Lesha has put his diet and exercise knowledge to the test by competing in the Classic category for a Body Building show run by the PCA.

Lesha’s extensive background in dance teaching people how to move in various ways has carried over fantastically to his personal training skills ensuring correct form, injury prevention, and to maximise results. Lesha has a very unique and bright attitude, always smiling and giving off positive energy while setting achievable and providing genuine support towards their attainment.
